The Quiet CityI want to set these aching bones on ice for a while; sit back and watch the trees groan as their limbs crack under frost's fingertips. You could never know how much I'd give to swallow these tears, like pills to numb me - just enough to where caring isn't second nature. To melt with this frame in time I've grown to hate. Will there still be whispers stirring in a hollowed heart? Or will we leave it in it's hibernation, behind guarded doors screaming 'do not disturb...' I wonder why you can't feel this, as I wind myself into chainlink fence powdered white, until my fingers bleed cold. And could I possibly climb out of the stark white world I'v The Quiet City

Apparently I've been a stranger to deviantart for a while. Don't worry, I'm still alive. I went through an inspirational dry-spell. Luckily for you...I think it's raining again. I'll hopefully be putting up some new pieces pretty soon. I've added 'The Quiet City.' Consider it my comeback.
